Native app privacy notice

How the native beta handles project information, optional services and tester feedback.Updated 15 September 2026

Who provides the app

The EnvironmentalReport native beta for iPhone, iPad and Mac is provided by Lukas Potocar, Slovakia. Lukas Potocar is the controller of personal information received to administer the beta and respond to support or privacy requests. Contact: contact@environmentalreport.eu.

This notice covers the native app and its beta support, provided by Lukas Potocar personally. The environmentalreport.eu website and browser product are operated by inovo s.r.o. and have a separate privacy notice. The person or organization whose reporting data you enter remains responsible for deciding what to include and who may receive it.

Projects and calculations on your device

The app processes project information, environmental calculations, evidence attachments and generated reports on your device. Core local use does not require an EnvironmentalReport server account. The app does not send projects to a developer reporting backend, include developer tracking analytics, or use advertising identifiers.

When you explicitly activate protected storage, the app encrypts the workspace and its files. A retained legacy workspace may remain for controlled rollback. Keep your recovery key private and stored safely: it is not sent to the developer, and support does not hold a recovery key for your workspace.

Optional iCloud synchronization

If you use private iCloud synchronization, application-encrypted data and routing metadata are transferred through Apple's infrastructure using your Apple account. Additional devices require approval through the app's pairing workflow. Apple's services are also subject to Apple's privacy terms. Local use does not require device pairing.

Files placed in user-selected iCloud folders, exported copies and backups have their own storage and retention settings. They are not all equivalent to the app's protected workspace.

Optional email and local document processing

When you configure email, the app connects directly to your chosen provider over verified TLS. Passwords or app passwords are kept in the device Keychain. Imported messages, attachments and local sent records are stored on the device according to workspace settings. The developer does not operate a mail proxy or receive your mailbox credentials.

Sending email requires confirmation. Providers and recipients process what you send under their own arrangements. Removing a mailbox connection does not automatically delete previously imported evidence or messages from your provider.

Optional Local AI document sorting, where available and explicitly enabled, sends selected content to a local service on your device. It has no cloud fallback and is not required for environmental calculations or report generation. Camera and photo access are requested for optional evidence or pairing tasks.

Exports, sharing and external agents

Saving or sharing a PDF, ZIP, questionnaire or another export creates a separate copy in the location or receiving app you select. It may contain the project information and attachments you included. Other applications, recipients and storage providers control their copies.

On Mac, an external agent you authorize to use the CLI can receive permitted command results. The external agent or AI service has its own data handling terms. Do not provide confidential evidence to an external service unless you are authorized to do so.

TestFlight diagnostics and support

Apple operates TestFlight and processes beta installation information, diagnostics and feedback under its own terms. Apple may share crash reports, device and operating-system information, testing activity, and feedback or screenshots you submit with the developer. The information shared depends on TestFlight's current features and your testing method.

If you email support, the developer receives your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. This information is used to answer requests, investigate defects and improve the beta. Send only the minimum needed to explain a problem. Never send passwords, recovery keys or confidential business evidence.

Where GDPR applies, responding to support and diagnosing reliability or security issues is based on the developer's legitimate interest in operating and improving the beta. Processing necessary to comply with a legal obligation relies on that obligation. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Recipients and international processing

Apple handles TestFlight and optional iCloud services. Your chosen mail, storage and sharing providers handle connections or copies you request. The developer's email service processes support correspondence. These services may involve processing outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area, under applicable provider terms and safeguards.

This notice is published on the environmentalreport.eu website operated by inovo s.r.o. The website uses Vercel hosting and Plausible analytics as described in its separate website privacy notice. That notice applies to technical information processed when you visit this page. Publishing this notice on the website does not transfer your native-app projects to inovo s.r.o. or change the native beta provider.

Retention and deletion

Local project data is retained until you remove it through the app's documented project or workspace workflows. Deleting an app or project does not necessarily remove retained legacy workspaces, CloudKit records, backups, exported copies, provider mailboxes or recipient copies. These must be handled separately. Device revocation cannot erase copies already held by that device.

Support correspondence and developer-held beta diagnostics are retained for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the issue, maintain relevant reliability and security records, and meet applicable legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the issue and those obligations. You may request deletion of information held by the developer. Apple's and other providers' independent retention rules also apply.

Your privacy rights

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact contact@environmentalreport.eu. The developer may need enough information to verify and locate your request. Information held only in your private workspace cannot be retrieved by the developer for you.

You may complain to your local data protection authority or the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic. Requests about Apple or another provider's independent processing should also be directed to that provider.

Beta use and notice updates

Use fictional data during this beta. Generated beta reports are for evaluation only: calculations may be inaccurate and reports must not be used for official reporting. EnvironmentalReport is a professional reporting tool and is not designed specifically for children.

This notice may be updated when the app, provider or data flows change. The date identifies this version. A future change of provider will be reflected in the notice when it takes effect.
